I showed Siyanni your coming together page and we’ve been talking at home about recent events. She’s only 6 and doesn’t see how colour matters. We explained how unfortunately sometimes people get treated unfairly because of the colour of their skin. She then brought me her book and suggested everyone should read books like this ! Siyanni (Year 1) suggested we should learn about each other and look at the history of different people and what they have done. This is a wonderful book that looks at famous women of all colour and their achievements.
